Sonita Maternity Shoot | Durban

This shoot was bitter sweet for a brave couple with a challenging story but one of courage and hope for the future. A few months back Sonita, who was carrying identical twin girls contacted me to book a maternity shoot while they would be down in KZN on holiday. Shortly before the shoot Sonita let me know that one of her baby girls, Mieke had passed away after an operation she had to undergo as the girls had twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. The other twin Milann is doing well and they look forward to meeting her soon. During the shoot Sonita & Christiaan released purple balloons in memory of Mieke. I know one day you will meet your baby girl in heaven but for now I know that little Milann will bring you so much love on her arrival xxx Hair & Make-up by Cindi Laird
